February 08 - My 1st trip to USA!!

Hmmm,, this was the best experience of all.. with 19 fellow delegates and faculty advisors who turn out to be my best friends to share everything,, really everything.,

The whole journey, the conference, the nite out, the snow, hmmmhh,,, i could go on forever..

June – My graduation

God!!

There's so many things that excited me in the last two days.

My Grad day, it was a lot of fun!! The make up was great, the eye lash was superb!! Though i lost my half of eye brow (mas dedi, kembalikan aliskuuuuuu!!!!!!!! =P)

The photograph session with pipi, mimi, iyis, and uti, and the rest of my friends.. huhuuuu... Wait for the pics ya guys...

Then, the the call from Kimberly-Clark.. The call that made me had to leave my beloved city, Bandung..

And today, is my first day!!

This morning I join the people of Jakarta in the crowded way, struggling enough to find a bus cos pipii couldnt drive me to the office.. (akhirnya naik taksiii... hihiiiii)

waaaaaa.... I'm nervous as can be.. Just trying to keep up and get to know everyone..

Then, I'm meeting up with my friends. My very own friends from campus.. there were 8 of us, Liana, Tuti, Etcha, Uwi, Shinta, Iko, Indri, Imam. They were all working in this big old city..

God.. It felt really nice to meet them.. Remembering that not so long ago we were still there, in the back of gedung 1, waiting for our next class and playing cards..

hahahhahhhh.... I'm sooooo Happy!!!

And then, pipi picked me up at plangi.. On the way home, he gave me another present: A Bag!! A Gorgeus One!! hohoooooo.... Pipipiiiiiiii... I Luv it luv it luv it luv it sooooo muchhhh...

Tadi, pas pulang jalan-jalan, berhenti di lampu merah. Seperti biasa ada anak kecil ngamen. Pertamanya cuma nempelin mukanya di jendela gw dan nyanyi2 ngga jelas. Trus gw buka jendela sampe bawah dan ngomong, "kamu nyanyi apaaaaa??" Si anak bereaksi, " biarkan aku menjaga perasaan ini..."

Gw pun menjawab, "ngga mau ahhh.. nyanyi balonku aja!!" Si anak bengong.

Dan gw bernyanyi, Balonku ada lima rupa-rupa warnanya... Si anak mengikuti nyanyian gw tapi cuma blkg2nya doang.. Begitu sampai "merah kuning kelabuuu..." Si anak nyerah. Katanya, "aku belum tau lagu ituuuu..." Gw : Yaaahhh... Ya udah, potong bebek ajaa.. Si anak lagi-lagi bengong. Dan gw sekali lagi bernyanyi,

Si anak: Tantee, lampunya udah mau ijo.. (Sial gw dipanggil tante!!)

Menurut gw, dua hal ini susah bgt dicari...

Feminax dan Sampoerna A-volution!!

Minggu lalu, when i had my period, gw muter-muter ke enam tempat nyari pil satu ini!! i'm not a big fan of it si, cuma ngga tau knapa, sakitnya luar biasa bgt kemaren.. so i need it..

Mulai dari dua toko kecil deket rumah, actually iyis yg pergi krn gw sibuk megangin perut nahan sakit, dua2nya ngga ada...

akhrnya minta tlg iyis ke cisitu, terpaksa ngeluarin mobil..

karena kasian dia pergi sendirian, gw ikut nemenin.. masih pake daster.. iyis yg nyetir..

toko ketiga: mini market di cisitu, sebelah toko alpina.. Result: ZERO!!

ya uda yis, ke circle k aja di simpang..

tapi jadinya ke C.K yang sebelah kafe halaman.. iyis yg turun.. 10 menit didalem... ngga ada mba adis... tapi katanya mas nya, pake minuman ini juga bisa (gw lupa namanya).. hah? apaan?? gw sampe minta diliatin dulu minumannya.. bukan, bukan kiranti.. tapi krna ngga jelas menurut gw, ngga jadi dibeli..

huhuuu... sakit bgt perut gw.... kmana lagi donk, kata iyis..

warung yg diatas aja tuh.. sebelum darul hikam..

disitu ada warung lumayan gede.. ada dua warung sebelah2an..

nyampe situ, parkir, iyis masuk kedalem, dannnnnn.... NGGA ADA JUGA!!

rain forest lounge, changi airport, 1.52 am.

this is our first stop.

tadi dari jakarta jam 9.45

sempet ada kejadian, i lost my boarding pass. jadi tadi setelah masuk pesawat harus di escort keluar sama security.. hahahhh... deg2an...

turns out, i dropped it!!

tapi duduk disebelah bule from austria. perjalanan naik emirates yang kurang enak jadi terasa menyenangkan. bumpy landing!!

si bule ini udah terbang selama 48 jam (!!!!) dan dia bilang dia bener2 butuh mandi... i couldnt agree more..

=)

he travels lot. been everywhere termasuk bali dan indonesia bagian timur. he'll be staying in spore for 5 days, and then go to borneo to scuba diving with his girlfriend..

huhuuuu... so sweet....

obrolan yang cukup menyenangkan. berhasil menyingkirkan nervous gw krn duduk dipesawat jauh dari temen2 yg lain.

pesawat berikutnya jam 6 pagi waktu spore. which means 4 more hours. untung dapet lounge ini. asik juga. free flow foods and drinks. internet gratis. sofa. bisa mandi (tapi belum pengen).

our next stop will be at tokyo, narita airport. (spore-tokyo: 6 hours). kayanya ngga akan sempet posting. karena cuma punya waktu sejam. dan karena narita itu luas bgt (katanya) kita akan lari2 ngejar pesawat berikutnya (a 13 hours flight to minneapolis). ckckck..

well, thats it for now.

mudah2an bisa posting lagi selama dijalan.

i always knew.. men are obsessed with boops!!

ada ni, salah satu artis indonesia indo alias setengah bule setengah indonesia.. baru punya bayi setelah setahun married.. dan disalah satu sesi wawancara, this new dad can't stop smilling.. katanya, 'mukanya bulet, ikut istri. matanya sipit, ikut istri juga. tapi idungnya mancung, berarti ikut saya. bibirnya merah dan kupingnya agak besar ikut saya'. 'Dan dia, kalo udah nyonyot (??), udah coba minum asi, kalo dilepas pasti langsung nangis.. nah, itu sama tu kaya saya.. hahahaha...' (dan tawa pers pun meledak)

Reaksi gw : HAH?? ANJRIT!!

wat is it?! knapa yaa.. mungkin itu cuma becandaan.. tapiiii... he's a public figure for god's sake! dan itu diomongin didepan segitu banyaknya wartawan dan he knows for sure that the interview is being taped. which means it's going to be broadcasted all over indonesia!!

gw pernah baca. katanya emang udah instingnya cowo to seek for it. and it has something to do with a comfortable feeling towards it. cos babies do find comfort snuggling in their mommies' body.

tapi kalo cowo... ngga usah dibayangin de... males..

hahaha.. i feel kind of silly writing this,,

as far as i remember, this other part of me was exist when i was nine or ten years of ages..

it was all started in one of my afternoon class of religion.. i was waiting for my turn to read the holy Qur’an, when i started acting funny,, makin’ silly sound,, and just practically annoyed everyone in class..

then my teacher said, “adis, what happen to you?? you don’t do stuff like this normally.. is this you??” but i cant remember what my answer was at that time, but i do remember that since that day, my teacher began to call me ‘Udis’ everytime i act weird.. He said it was the other me that comes alive.. hahahaha

But since then, i do call myself Udis everytime i want to do silly things, imitating pets sound, basicly everything out of ordinary.. then, when people around me begin to shout, “Adis, cut it out!!” i’d answer, “this is not Adis.. It’s Udis” sometimes in a very creepy sound...

hahahahahahaa….

Udis just lastin for about two years i guess.. i cant remember when was the last time i brought her up or even mention her..

but i guess she’s still there.. you know,, the deepest part of me,, that wanted to do everything without being scared of every role or value that surround me..

i think everyone have this side of traits..

is it split personality? emm,, i think not..

at least for me it’s not,, i was totally aware of the fact that i made this character up.. and i control it.. it’s just part of growing up.. and having fun..

but honestly, i found such a comfort when i was being ‘Udis’.. where i can be as loud as i want,, as creepy as i want,, as natural as i want,, and sometimes as sick as i want,,

it got me to think though.. am i living a lie right now?? but you can’t escape values and roles in your whole life right?? everything you do is going to matter to the people around you,, to the world around you,,

and there are certain acts that people expect to see in yourself,, as a president for example,, you’re not suppose to fart in front of people.. you’re not suppose to say something in a silly sound.. you have to be as clean as you can..

so i guess i’m not living a lie,, just being normal,,

it’s not fun i know,, but i guess i’m still lucky,, cos’ i still can be ‘Udis’ anytime i want,, i’m not a president.. hahahh..
